Course Summary
This beginner-level Spanish course offers a dynamic and practical introduction to one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. The course helps participants build confidence in using Spanish in real-life contexts, from introducing themselves and asking for directions to ordering food and talking about their daily routines.
Combining grammar, vocabulary and conversation with rich cultural immersion, the course follows a communicative methodology, placing emphasis on speaking and listening skills while integrating reading and writing tasks. Participants will engage in interactive, supportive learning activities with experienced language trainers.
This training not only develops language proficiency but also enhances intercultural awareness, social skills, and personal motivation for continued learning.

Understand and use basic everyday expressions in Spanish;
Interact in simple scenarios such as ordering food, shopping, asking for directions.

Engage in short conversations using appropriate vocabulary and polite expressions;
Increase confidence in speaking publicly in Spanish: articulate clear questions and ideas;
Transfer and share core values, experiences and effective teaching practices with other teachers and colleagues.
Daily Program
DAY 1
• Spanish alphabet, pronunciation basics.
• Numbers and colours.
• Basic greetings: Hola, Buenos días, ¿Cómo estás? and polite responses.
• Introducing oneself.
• Vocabulary: countries, nationalities, professions, languages.
• Pair practice and basic conversation role-plays.
DAY 2
• Days of the week, seasons, telling the time, holidays.
• Describing routines and leisure activities: leer, bailar, escuchar música…
• Grammar: present tense of regular verbs (yo hablo, tú comes…).
• Listening: short dialogues about daily activities.
• Writing task: short paragraph introducing yourself and daily routine.
DAY 3
• Food and drink vocabulary: fruits, vegetables, common dishes.
• Phrases for restaurants and cafés: Quisiera…, La cuenta, por favor…
• Dialogue practice: ordering at a restaurant, going to the supermarket.
• Listening: recorded orders in restaurants.
• Cultural session: traditional Spanish foods and mealtimes.
DAY 4
• Vocabulary: public transport, places in town, directions.
• Asking for and giving directions.
• Practical activity: map-based task or city tour simulation.
• Reading: short texts about famous Spanish or Latin American cities.
- Culture focus: key festivals, traditions, and etiquette.
DAY 5
• Interactive revision: vocabulary games, quizzes, group projects.
• Real-life simulation: combining all skills in practical role-plays.
• Group discussion: compare cultures and reflect on learning.
