FAQ's
Here are some of the most common asked questions we receive.
Who Can Participate In Our Courses?
Everyone! Even though a lot of our participants apply to our courses through Erasmus+ Key Action 1 projects (and grants), they are suited for everyone.
If you’d like, you can contact us and we’ll help you figure out if it’s the right fit for you!
What is the Organization ID (OID)?
It is a unique identifier assigned to organizations participating in the Erasmus+ program. It’s used to simplify the application process and manage project participation across various Erasmus+ activities.
Our OID is E10201112.
What's the Erasmus+ Programme About?
The Erasmus Plus Programme was developed by the European Union and provides teachers the opportunity to take training courses abroad and learn new teaching techniques.
The program is divided into 4 actions:
- Key Action 1
- Key Action 2
- Key Action 3
- Jean Monnet Actions
We provide courses related to Key Action 1: mobility of individuals abroad such as teachers, and other school staff; as well as Job Shadowing and VET internships.
We are also involved in Key Action 2 projects: we partner with other schools and organisations in the areas of VET, Youth Education and Adult Education.
You can find more information on our Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 page.
What's Key Action 1? And Key Action 2?
KA1 provides a fantastic way for individuals to take international training abroad, in many European countries. It’s also the most funded Action in the Erasmus+ 2021-2027 program, revealing the importance of mobility in today’s EU.
KA2 presents a great opportunitty for innovative joint partnerships and projects between schools, training entities, NGOs and more, all across Europe.
You can find more information on our Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 page.
Does the Erasmus+ KA1 Grant Cover the Course Expenses?
Yes. All costs of our courses can be supported with a grant under KA1 of the Erasmus+ programme.
Please see the detailed costs in the next question.
How Much Our Courses in Porto, Lisbon or Madeira Cost?
All costs can be supported with a KA grant under the Erasmus+ programme.
The average course in Porto is a 6-day long program.
For Lisbon and Madeira, most courses follow a 7-day program.
We encourage you to check each course’s page, where you can find all detailed information about its price and included services!
General course structure follows these components:
A – Course fee and Duration:
For tuition and materials, course fee is 80,00 Euros per day. This can be covered with the course fee that you receive with your KA1 grant: 80 EUR / day.
B – Organizational Support:
Depends on the course profile, however, it is usually a standard price of 100 EUR per participant (total amount). This represents:
- Daily Coffee Break;
- Full Social & Cultural Program;
- Logistic, organizational and administrative support from headquarters;
- Daily assistance and on-call support throughout the whole week.
In the previous Erasmus+ programme, each educational organisation also received 350 EUR per participant for organisational support. Learning Together only charged 150 EUR for administration and organisation costs (local organisation and logistics, pedagogical support activities, learning validation, certification and Europass Mobility validation). With the new programme, the organisational support fees are now a standard 100 EUR per person – however, they can vary according to project type (job-shadowing, long-term,…).

What Do Our Course Status Mean?
- Confirmed: The session/date is affirmed and will be held.
- Pre-Confirmed: This session is nearly reaching our minimum number of participants for course confirmation.
- Planned: This session is a planned date and is open to enrollments.
⚠ Please kindly note that you must always contact us first, before scheduling any flights or accommodation.
What About Meals and Accommodation?
Regarding accommodation, Learning Together does not offer accommodation and meal services. The vast majority of previous participants prefer the freedom to choose their own accommodation, either for financial purposes, for company and socialization purposes, or, even, because of the sending Institution directives. Either way, we too believe it is best to allow our participants to choose their own accommodation. If you prefer a smaller room by the riverside, or a bigger apartment with a kitchenette closer to downtown go ahead, it’s all up to you. The same goes to meals! Although we offer coffee breaks during the training sessions and dinner on the first night, we incentivize you to go out and discover the traditional Portuguese cuisine world. In any case, we always offer accommodation and restaurants suggestions to our participants!
In fact, we have a whole section in our website dedicated to Porto, Lisbon and Madeira! You’ll find all the information you’ll need to fully enjoy these cities (sightseeing, restaurants, accommodation, entertainment, you name it!).
