Terms & Conditions
By booking a course with Learning Together, you (the “Participant”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. No exceptions to the terms and conditions will be applied nor given.
Learning Together is not responsible for: illness, damage caused, lost/stolen items, or injuries during or after the courses.
Accuracy of Information: Participants must complete the online registration form accurately, specifying the course title and date. Learning Together is not responsible for errors made by the participant during the enrollment process.
Confirmation: A registration is only considered “confirmed” once the final enrollment is processed and billing information is received.
Attendance: Full attendance is required to receive a training certificate. Course withdrawals or skipped days without documented justification (e.g., medical emergency) will result in the forfeiture of the certificate.
If, for some reason, a participant does not participate in the course, the Refund Policy of Learning Together will be enforced and no exceptions will be given (see below).
Learning Together is not responsible for nor will give a refund if a participant does not show up on the course, whether it be due to sudden illness, error in entering date in the online form, poor weather conditions, war, acts of terrorism, strikes, or any other uncontrolled events.
1. CANCELLATION NOTIFIED BY THE PARTICIPANT
a) If a participant needs to cancel or modify their registration, they must submit a written request via email to learningtogether.eu@sinerconsult.pt. Requests made within 60 calendar days of registration and at least 40 days prior to the course start date are eligible for a refund.
Learning Together offers three (3) options for cancellations notified by the participant:
Option A: Partial Refund – The refund amount will be the total fee paid minus a €150 administrative fee.
Option B: Substitution – The participant may nominate a substitute person to take their place in the course at no additional cost, provided the substitute meets the course requirements and their details are submitted at least 10 days prior to the start date.
Option C: Rescheduling – The participant may request to reschedule their enrollment to a future course date. Once a course is rescheduled, the booking becomes strictly non-refundable and cannot be canceled or moved again.
b) “No shows” or cancellations made outside of the specified windows above will incur the full cost of the registration.
c) If a participant withdraws during the training, their record will reflect as “Incomplete,” and no refund will be issued.
2. CANCELLATION BY LEARNING TOGETHER
Insufficient Enrollment: Learning Together reserves the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment at least 30 calendar days before the start date. Participants will be offered a choice between a full refund or rescheduling to a future date.
Itinerary Changes & External Providers: Learning Together reserves the right to make modifications to the course program or itinerary at any time (e.g., change of instructor, transportation delays, or reordering of site visits). Please note that any cultural activities (if included in the program) are provided by external third-party partners. Learning Together does not exercise direct control over these entities and is not responsible for sudden closures (e.g., for maintenance, local holidays, or private events) or schedule changes initiated by the external provider.
Date Changes: If course dates must be changed by the organizer for any other reason, participants will be notified at least 1 to 2 months in advance. Learning Together is not liable for any expenses incurred by the customer if a training course is cancelled and customer received notification by email within the period specified above.
3. Liability and Force Majeure
General Liability: Learning Together is not responsible for personal illness, injuries, loss of property, or damages incurred during or after the courses.
Force Majeure: Learning Together is not liable for refunds or expenses (including travel, accommodation, or food) resulting from uncontrolled events. This includes, but is not limited to: strikes, acts of terrorism, weather conditions, war, or epidemic outbreaks.
Travel Arrangements: If flights or transport are canceled by external providers, Learning Together is not financially responsible. In such cases, the participant may request to reschedule (see Section 1, Option C).
4. Health and COVID-19 Policy
Refunds based on health crises (such as COVID-19) are only issued if the cancellation is mandated by official authorities (EU, National Governments, or National Agencies). If a participant chooses to cancel despite no official government restrictions being in place, the standard cancellation options in Section 1 will apply.
Logistics: Personal travel and accommodation are not included in the course fee. While Learning Together may provide suggestions or resources, the final choice and responsibility rest with the participant.
We will make every effort to accommodate special requests (dietary, accessibility, etc.), but these cannot be guaranteed.
All applicable taxes are included in the base price of the courses and activities.
Your privacy is important to us. We have therefore developed a Privacy Policy which regulates the way we collect, use, transfer and store your personal data.
Learning Together complies with privacy regulations regarding the collection and storage of personal data.
Data is collected solely for the purpose of course administration and service delivery.
We do not use personal data for third-party commercial purposes.
If a participant declines to provide necessary data, Learning Together may be unable to process the registration or issue certificates.
