Course Summary
This six-day English as a Foreign Language (EFL) immersion course is designed to provide participants with intensive language practice and skills development in English.
Through interactive sessions, communicative activities, and practical exercises, participants will enhance their proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while also gaining insights into the English language and culture.
This course is suitable for individuals who have a basic, intermediate understanding of English and want to improve their language skills for personal, academic, or professional.
Participants will improve and enrich their English knowledge in selected aspects of the language and as a means of communication in class and in everyday situations.
The course focuses on practical classroom activities and resources, providing participants with a refreshing variety of teaching techniques.
Objectives: this course aims to provide educators with opportunities to reinforce heir English knowledge (B Level), as well as their confidence on using and speaking the language. As a result, participants will be more knowledgeable, confident and fluent English users.
Course Goals
The course will be delivered through a combination of interactive lectures, group discussions, pair work, role-plays, language games, multimedia resources, and practical exercises. Participants will engage in communicative activities that simulate real-life situations to enhance their language skills.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate improved proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Develop effective communication skills for everyday situations and professional contexts.
- Expand vocabulary and grasp grammar structures to enhance language fluency.

- Transfer and share core values, experiences and effective teaching practices with other teachers and colleagues
Daily Program
DAY 1
• Self Preparation for a short School presentation on Day 2
• Cultural Quiz (to be filled out pre-session) • Welcome Session - Networking between participants and Erasmus+ team
• Sharing of European core values
• Open space for participants to share ideas and discuss current challenges in the Education sector; collaborative opportunity to exchange future goals (activity)
• Icebreaking, dinner, week briefing and planning
DAY 2
• Introduction to course objectives, structure, and expectations.
• Basic communication skills: Greetings, introductions, and simple conversations.
• Introduction to English pronunciation and phonetics.
DAY 3
• Common words and phrases for everyday situations.
• Tenses, sentence structure, and common grammatical patterns.
• Practical exercises and activities to reinforce vocabulary and grammar concepts.
DAY 4
• Short audio clips and dialogues for understanding spoken English.
• Role-plays, group discussions, and presentation skills.
• Pronunciation drills and techniques for clear and effective communication.
DAY 5
• Short texts, articles, and passages.
• Emails, letters, and short essays on various topics.
• Feedback and guidance on improving reading and writing skills.
DAY 6
• Customs, traditions, and norms in English-speaking countries
• Role-plays and simulations in different contexts
• Final assessment and reflection on language learning journey
• Future cooperation and planning follow up activities (discussion)
