Artificial Intelligence is transforming the future of education, not as a replacement for teachers, but as a powerful creative and operational ally.
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping education and work, but without conscious action, it risks deepening existing inequalities.
This structured course, AI for Innovative Teaching, addresses the urgent need to make AI a tool for inclusion, empowerment, and accessible innovation, rather than exclusion.
In this Erasmus+ mobility, participants will explore how AI can be used to bridge gaps in education, support diverse learners and workers, and promote equal opportunities across socio-economic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
Through a balance of practical tools, ethical reflection, and social innovation projects, AI for Innovative Teaching enables educators, trainers, and project managers to apply AI solutions that enhance accessibility, personalize learning and work experiences, and design socially responsible initiatives.
The course provides participants with the ability to position themselves as leaders of inclusive digital transformation, ensuring that no learner is left behind in the AI-driven future.
Course Goals
Participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals and ethical considerations of AI in education;
- Define different types of AI and name leading platforms;
- Identify contexts where AI can (and cannot) be applied effectively;
- Generate educational content using at least two AI tools;
- Write and refine prompts for classroom use;
- Evaluate differences in tool behavior and reliability;
- Produce AI-generated visuals for educational use;
- Describe how visual AI tools work and where to apply them responsibly;
- Integrate visual AI into learning or presentation scenarios;
- Create a short podcast or voice narration using AI;
- Evaluate audio tools for inclusive and multilingual education;
- Understand limits of AI-generated voice and consent issues;
- Use AI to optimize lesson planning and assessment;
- Design workflows and lesson plans enhanced by AI assistance;
- Build a resource bank of practical AI applications;
- Present a practical plan to use AI in your context;
- Reflect on personal growth and ethical positioning;
- Collaborate and share ideas across disciplines;
- Promote intercultural awareness;
- Transfer and share core values, experiences and teaching practices with other colleagues;
- Improve technical and English language, communication and social skills.
Daily Program
DAY 1
• Self Preparation for a short School presentation on Day 2
• Cultural Quiz (to be filled out pre-session) • Welcome Session - Networking between participants and Erasmus+ team
• Sharing of European core values
• Open space for participants to share ideas and discuss current challenges in the Education sector; collaborative opportunity to exchange future goals (activity)
• Icebreaking, dinner, week briefing and planning
DAY 2
• Understanding AI: Concepts, Trends & Ethics
• What is Artificial Intelligence? Definitions and historical evolution
• Types of AI: generative, conversational, predictive
• Key players: OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic, Microsoft, Meta, Adobe
• Risks and opportunities: ethical issues, bias, misinformation
• AI literacy in education and lifelong learning
DAY 3
• ChatGPT & Beyond: Generative Text Tools
• Hands-on: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Copilot (Microsoft)
• Prompt engineering: tone, format, complexity, creative tasks
• Comparing strengths, limitations and output styles
• AI as co-teacher, tutor, or assistant
DAY 4
• Visual & Video AI: Creating with Images and Motion
• Tools: Canva AI, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, RunwayML, Pika, Synthesia
• Creating images, illustrations, animations and avatars
• Deepfake awareness and ethical production
• AI in digital storytelling and visual assessment
DAY 5
• AI for Productivity and Innovation
• AI in research, writing, curriculum design, assessment
• Possible case studies: Task automation with AI (Zapier, Copilot in Office365)
• AI and project-based learning: co-creating with students
• Creating Your AI Integration Plan / Co-designing an action plan: individual or institutional
DAY 6
• Final presentation: “What AI will I take home?”
• Feedback, course roundup and review
• Learning Outcomes’ validation
• Certification Ceremony

The daily schedule/ program describes likely activities but may differ based on the trainer's discretion and objectives.
Classes are scheduled for either the morning or afternoon, based on the provider's preference.
