Course Goals
This programme empowers educators to cultivate creativity in themselves and their students
through practical tools, techniques, and strategies. Participants will explore theoretical
frameworks, engage in creative exercises, and design innovative lesson plans adaptable to their
subjects. The course equips teachers with a mindset for fostering creative thinking in diverse
learning environments.

DAY 1
• Self Preparation for a short School presentation on Day 2
• Cultural Quiz (to be filled out pre-session) • Welcome Session - Networking between participants and Erasmus+ team
• Sharing of European core values
• Open space for participants to share ideas and discuss current challenges in the Education sector; collaborative opportunity to exchange future goals (activity)
• Icebreaking, dinner, week briefing and planning
DAY 2
• Introduction to creativity and its role in education.
• Exploring the difference between traditional and lateral thinking.
• Using creativity to adapt to new educational contexts.
• Interactive exercises to foster creative thinking.
DAY 3
• Identifying creativity barriers and enablers in education.
• Understanding the componential theory of creativity and how to use it to motivate students.
• Building a creative mindset.
DAY 4
• Managing and fostering creative collaboration in the classroom.
• Structuring creative lesson plans.
• Collaborative activities to develop teamwork.
DAY 5
• Integrating tools and techniques for creative thinking.
• Learning the importance of both divergent and convergent thinking.
• Practical application of idea generation tools.
DAY 6
• Assessing students’ creative abilities.
• Developing an action plan for creative teaching.
• Integrating digital tools to assist creative teaching and learning.
