I really enjoyed my participation in the Erasmus course “Creativity in Education,” led by Ricardo Carvalho. The course offered a great approach to fostering creativity in education. Topics such as adaptability, lateral thinking, and the identification of creative blockers and enablers were particularly engaging for me. I learned valuable strategies for overcoming barriers to creativity and fostering a more innovative classroom environment.
The focus on creative collaboration was inspiring. I appreciated a great variaty of the practical exercises that encouraged us to apply these methods in real time. We also learned AI tools to assist in creative processes for enhancing lesson planning and teaching.
We also practiced making a creative lesson plan. This experience helped me integrate the concepts we learned into my own teaching practices. To sum up, this course was very informative and practical, it gave me the tools and motivation to bring more creativity into my classroom. I plan to share a lot of things with my colleagues, as well.
