Course Summary
CLIL (content and language integrated learning) methodology can provide the necessary tools that teachers need to guide and support their students’ learning process.
CLIL is not a new form of language education. It is not a new form of subject education. It is an innovative fusion of both. Inherent to both definitions is the bringing together of two areas that for the most part had stood apart: subject teaching and language teaching.
CLIL programs aim to increase students’ subject-area knowledge while at the same time improving their knowledge of and skills in the target language. In addition, students should improve their own ability to learn and come to understand and appreciate a new culture.
