Course Summary
Teaching is one of the most rewarding professions, but also one of the most emotionally demanding. The growing complexity of the school environment, digital overload, classroom management challenges, and emotional fatigue can easily lead to stress and burnout if not properly addressed.
That is why this is a practical Erasmus+ training course designed to help teachers regain control over their wellbeing, manage stress effectively, and build daily routines that support emotional balance and mental clarity.
Participants will explore evidence-based techniques for stress prevention and relief, including mindfulness practices, relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, body awareness, emotional regulation strategies, and time management tools.
This is not a theoretical course, it is an immersive experience where educators will learn by doing, reflect on their personal habits, and co-create practical solutions adapted to their lifestyle and school context.
The ultimate goal is to promote a healthier teaching culture where wellbeing is not an afterthought, it comes first.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Methodological Approach to Wellbeing and Stress
In this course, wellbeing and stress-relief strategies are not presented as personal self-care activities only, but as pedagogical and organisational tools that can be transferred into educational and training contexts.
Participants are guided to understand how evidence-informed wellbeing strategies support professional performance, emotional balance, communication and sustainable teaching practices in education.
All activities are embedded within a structured daily program of 5 hours of educational content combining theory, practice, reflection, pedagogical transfer, in line with Erasmus+ quality and eligibility requirements.
All sessions are facilitated by qualified trainers with professional experience in education, adult learning, and well-being methodologies, ensuring methodological rigour and alignment with Erasmus+ quality standards.
Practical Transfer to Educational Settings
Throughout the course, participants will:
- Explore practical stress-relief strategies that can be applied in educational and training environments to support emotional balance and professional wellbeing.
- Learn how to integrate realistic wellbeing practices into daily routines at school or training centres without disrupting teaching schedules.
- Analyse the relationship between stress, performance, communication and classroom climate in educational settings.
- Develop strategies to promote self-regulation, resilience and positive working environments within educational teams.
- Reflect on how wellbeing practices can support inclusive, respectful and emotionally safe learning environments.
Pedagogical Application and Reflection
Participants are encouraged to:
Reflect on their own stress patterns and professional challenges in education.
Identify practical strategies that can realistically be applied within their institutional context.
Share experiences and perspectives with peers, fostering mutual learning and professional awareness.
The course aims at providing educators with practical, ethically responsible tools to support professional wellbeing, effective communication and healthy educational environments.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the main causes and symptoms of stress in the teaching profession;
- Apply daily techniques for stress relief, relaxation and emotional balance;
- Develop mindfulness and body awareness practices suitable for school routines;
- Strengthen resilience and emotional regulation in challenging situations;
- Design healthy habits and personal wellbeing plans for long-term balance;
- Promote a positive culture of wellbeing in their school or staff team;
- Promote intercultural awareness;
- Transfer and share core values, experiences and effective teaching practices with other teachers and colleagues;
- Improve technical and English language, communication and social skills.

• Personal Wellbeing Action Plan
• Time management and work-life balance strategies
• Setting healthy boundaries at school and home
• Digital wellbeing: managing screen overload
• Creating rituals for relaxation and self-care
