Course Summary

New methods of thinking and behaving are required to address today’s global concerns. The process of social awareness and transformation, as well as the paradigm shifts required for sustainable living, can all be significantly aided by education.
To achieve this, it is necessary to increase education and teachers’ contribution to the development of stronger, fairer, more sustainable, and more peaceful societies.
Education for sustainability is driven by a broad understanding of education and learning that includes people of all ages, backgrounds and at all stages of life. It takes place within all possible learning spaces, formal and informal, in schools, workplaces, homes and communities.

Course objectives

This course aims to increase teachers’ knowledge of sustainable development concerns and their capacity to apply sustainability objectives and principles to their classroom activities and lesson plans. By integrating Education for Sustainable Development into classrooms, subject curricula, and schools, this course intends to help participants contribute to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.

Pricing

Costs can be supported with a Key Action grant under the Erasmus+ Program. Our pricing policy follows the official regulations on transparent costs. 

2024 Course fee: 660 euros per participant (7-day course).

  • Explore methodological and pedagogical tools that promote a new awareness of our relationship with the environment and sustainable lifestyles;
