To achieve this, it is necessary to increase education and teachers’ contribution to the development of stronger, fairer, more sustainable, and more peaceful societies.

Education for sustainability is driven by a broad understanding of education and learning that includes people of all ages, backgrounds and at all stages of life. It takes place within all possible learning spaces, formal and informal, in schools, workplaces, homes and communities.

Course objectives: This course aims to increase teachers’ knowledge of sustainable development concerns and their capacity to apply sustainability objectives and principles to their classroom activities and lesson plans. By integrating Education for Sustainable Development into classrooms, subject curricula, and schools, this course intends to help participants contribute to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.

Course fee: 660 euros per participant (7-day course).
