This course stems from the imperative to equip educators with a profound understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its ever-growing relevance in the realm of education. AI has the transformative potential to revolutionize the way we impart knowledge and facilitate learning, enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and the personalization of instruction. ChatGPT, as an AI tool, holds the promise of becoming an invaluable educational resource. Nevertheless, it is crucial for educators to wield it judiciously, mindful of the ethical and societal implications.
The primary objective of this proposed course is to endow participants with a comprehensive comprehension of AI’s role in education, with a particular focus on the practical application of ChatGPT. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into the prospects and challenges of integrating AI in the classroom through a blend of informative sessions, hands-on exercises, and presentations.
Furthermore, this course aligns with contemporary approaches to professional development, emphasizing dialogue, reflection, and collaborative learning. It has been meticulously designed to be interactive and participant-centered, fostering candid discussions and the exchange of ideas.
